The way you sleep matters a
lot. It affects your spiritual life and progress, and also affects your
physical wellbeing. It is necessary that you know how best to sleep, because
sleep is one medium through which evil spirits manipulate people. Also, the
Angels of God visit you during sleep, to deliver messages to you, to guide you,
to protect you, to teach you, to empower you and to prosper you. Very
importantly, sleep is a restorative process.
Meaning Of Sleep
Sleep is the natural state of
rest characterized by reduced body movement, decreased awareness of
surroundings and rejuvenation by the Holy Spirit. Many consider the exact purpose of sleep a mystery. This should not be so. The
purpose of sleep is to restore a human being (body and spirit) to equilibrium
state for optimum performance. In addition, sleep provides a safe period for
every creature: when to work or rest freely.
Functions Of Sleep
1. Sleep was introduced by God
to protect animals from their predators, by reducing their activity during the
times when they are most vulnerable.
2. God uses day and night to
control the activities of all creatures, so that every creature can have a safe
period when to hunt for its food.
3. Sleep is a restorative
process that regenerates the body, soul and spirit. Thereby, it renews,
refreshes and revitalizes us.
4. Sleep resets our mental set,
making us to live happily and to perform best in our everyday life engagements.
5. Sleep takes away burdens,
confusions, stresses and strains from us.
6. Sleep makes us refresh
ourselves in the bosom of the Almighty Father.
Patterns Of Sleep
Amounts of sleep vary
significantly with age and even between individuals. Newborns sleep the most—a
newborn baby sleeps between 17 and 18 hours a day, spending nearly half of that
time in Rapid Eye Movement sleep. Both Rapid Eye Movement and Non-Rapid Eye
Movement sleep decrease with age. By the age of five, children sleep between 10
and 12 hours a day, spending about 20 percent of the sleep time in Rapid Eye
Movement sleep.
An average young adult needs
about 8 hours of sleep per night to function optimally during waking hours.
Some people, however, find it convenient to sleep only 6 or 7 hours a night,
while others need above 9 hours to feel rested and refreshed. The elderly spend
less time in deep Non-Rapid Eye Movement sleep; their sleep being more easily
interrupted.
Hours Of Sleep
A spiritually awake or
advanced fellow may spend most of the night time working: writing, dreaming,
receiving visions, engaging in spiritual visits within and outside the earth,
etc. That is why it is often said that the day is night to the mystic, and the
night is day to the master soul.
You should know that the night
is period very good for spiritual exercises and development. This explains why
many spiritual churches and prayer houses spend the night time in prayer
vigils.
What Evil Spirits Do When We Sleep
During sleep, the evil
spirits, demons, ghosts and black energies:
1. Feed you with all kinds of
unholy foods, dream meals, by which they cause you sickness, spiritual weakness
or downfall.
2. Take you to places you may
not know about. Even to places you would not like to go to.
3. Put various types of charms
and substances inside your body. The charms make you fornicate or commit evil,
even when you have no intention of doing so.
4. Sow the seeds (spirits) of
anger, stealing, disobedience, crisis, etc in your
life.
5. Bring forces of darkness to
envelope (overshadow and manipulate) you.

promise and fail, bad luck, etc.

The following information will
guide you to sleep very well.
1. Your Body and Posture
Always sleep in a good posture. Do not sleep facing
upwards or downwards. The best is to sleep sideways (by lying down on your
right or left side). Sideways improves sleep, facilitates spiritual experience
and progress. It ensures good digestion and assimilation, easy and smooth bowel
movement. Sideways posture makes you agile and responsive in sleep. By so doing
you breathe very well while you sleep.
2. Moderate Eating
Avoid over eating or under feeding. Do not live to eat. Instead, eat to live.
Be moderate in your eating. Eat less and less of sugar, oil and salt; and more
and more of vegetables and fruits.
3. Avoid Tiredness
Avoid being over tired. It makes you ‘a useless log of wood’ on the bed. Rest
when your body needs rest. You are over tired, over worked or over weak if you
easily fall asleep while inside a car, always want to lye
down, feel faint or dizzy. Tiredness is caused by shortage of blood, loss of
blood, insufficient nutrients in the body, etc.

1. The earth has spiritual
field, made manifest as the electrical and magnetic fields. These fields affect
people in different ways, because all are not exactly alike. What is compatible
to one person may not be compatible to another. All the same, all people can
benefit by sleeping in such a position that gives them the maximum gain from
the natural Earth currents.
2. You can discover your best
sleeping position just by observing your posture while you sleep. By so doing,
you will discover which postures gives you comfort and relaxation as well as
newness of life upon waking up.
3. You can set aside a month for
experiment.
4. In the first week, sleep in
such a position or posture that your feet faces North.

asked the students a question.
“At the harvest time, what crop is the farmer going to
harvest?”
“Corn,” answered all the students in unison.
“Very good,” replied the mystic. “You answered well.”
Then he began to explain to them the importance of the last action before
bedtime.
“Whatever you do last at night continues to be fresh
in the mind for about twelve hours, and has the tendency to draw into manifestation
similar spiritual experiences. That time is so much to be wasted on
frivolities. The last action supersedes all other actions in the day.
Therefore, you should either pray, meditate or read about God just before you
sleep. By so doing, you set your spirit to welcome the Angels and prepare
yourself to experience bliss, heaven or God. The night is a time long enough
for you to grow in spirit and in truth, undisturbed by everyday activities.”
“Is that clear?” he asked them.
“Yes,” they responded.
“Therefore,” he concluded. “Do not spend the last
minutes of the day washing pornography, violence, cultism, quarrels, careless
talks or such other evils. If you love God in spirit and in truth, you will
find this easy to do. But if you do not love God enough, this advice will annoy
or burden you.”

1. Sleep is a bodily affair,
which means that during sleep the level of body consciousness is quite low.
2. During sleep, a person is
highly vulnerable to the forces of darkness, because the person is neither
praying nor doing any spiritual practice. He is like a soldier in the battle
field, who has no weapons and who is easily cut unawares. That is why people
experience such evils like eating in dreams, having sex, being pursued by a
masquerade or animals, during sleep. Some dream of falling into a pit or being
cut up in endless route. Other distresses include attack by witches, waking up
with a startle, having night mares, serious fight, falling or unstable sensation
etc.
3. You should know that when we
sleep, it is like abandoning our body to the forces of darkness, and whatever
the evil spirits do to the body shall affect us, because we live inside the
body and carry it about, in the same way a person is affected by the weight,
shape, size and nature of the load he is carrying.
4. During sleep, the spaces
between the internal organs become less due to compression. The result is
downward movement of air, resulting in the excretion of gasses. The gasses are
waste, which attract evil spirit demons, mermaids, ghosts, witches and black
energies. It is like rendering oneself powerless and at the same time inviting
the enemies to come in and attack the person. Therefore, always ensure enough
ventilation.
5. At the physical level, people
generally ignore all these distresses. But at the spiritual level, the

1. Pray very well for God’s

2. Spray holy substances in the
bedroom or environment before sleeping.
3. You can fortify yourself more
by adding holy substances in your water for bath. The holy substances include
holy water, blood of Jesus, consuming fire, holy ash, covenant water or holy
salt.
4. Discourage frequent and
protracted playing of worldly music and or bad home videos. The radio and
television radiate waves in all directions when the programme
is evil or acted by those possessed by demons. The radio and television
intensify and multiply the forces of darkness in the environment. It is indeed
a pity that humanity are ignorant of spiritual realities of life and blind to
the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
5. Keep your bed in such way
that your feet are facing west. Divine energy flows from the east-west
direction, as well as in the up-down or north-south direction.
6. Keep the rooms well
ventilated at night. When the air in circulation is insufficient, waste air and
body excretions like sweat and gasses remain inside the house. The wastes
attract evil spirits, demons, ghosts, witches and evil potencies.
7. Using ordinary water to bath
is cleansing. That is why you become refreshed in the morning after taking your
bath. Using holy water is more powerful and beneficial.
8. Spray holy substances all
over the compound, from time to time. Extend the spray to the entrance roads.
9. Once in a while, invite
ministers of God to perform family deliverance and spiritual works. The
repetition is necessary because the earth is a battle field between the forces
of good and the forces of evil.

times, it is good to march round the house seven times, just as the Israelites
marched round the wall of Jericho to pull it down. When children of God march
round in prayer or singing, the Holy Spirit generates so much divine energy,
which the evil spirits cannot withstand.

During sleep, the body is
resting and spiritual activity is greatly reduced. That means that while we
sleep, we are highly vulnerable to attacks from evil spirits. And that is
exactly what is happening on a daily basis, with people having bad dreams,
dream meals, or a feeling of being bound by the witches such that the person
cannot speak and shout ‘Jesus’ or cannot fight back.
Besides, many people make
themselves prone to demonic possession and attacks by the kinds of evil films
and videos they watch before going to bed. It is only spiritually ignorant and
dead humans who claim that there is nothing like spiritual dimension of life.
Such people say that they do not believe in reincarnation, deliverance,
prophecy or long prayers and crusade. You should regard such a person saying he

Sleeping
Position 1 – Sleeping On The Back
When in this position, the
body is exposed to the radiations from the hell region. Majority of the people
do not know that ‘the earth is the gate of hell’ just as ‘the sky is the gate
of heaven’. The earth is in a position in-between the heaven and the hell. Also,
the surface area of the body in contact with the earth/ground is highest. That
means that when people sleep with their backs to the ground, they are highly
vulnerable to attacks from (easily attacked by) the evil spirits, demons,
mermaids, ghosts, witches and black energies.

This posture puts much
pressure on the organs inside the body. Therefore, their normal rate of
functioning is disturbed. That creates distress on the body, which distress
affects the spiritual wellbeing of people. In addition, the pressure makes the
intestine to give out air, which is pollution, and which attracts more demons
and forces of darkness to attack people.
Sleeping
on the stomach puts so much pressure on the internal organs of the body,
thereby causes health problems in future.
Sleeping Position 3 – Sleeping On The
Sides
This is the best sleeping
position. Sleeping on the left (Sun channel) is better than sleeping on the
right side (moon channel). Sleep on the left side, when you want to fight and
win battles. Sleep on the right side, when you want to recover lost blessings.

Out of experience, we know
that those who go to bed early in the night rise up early in the morning.
In the cities, the amount of
time spent on sleep is getting less and less due to several factors. Among the
factors are traffic holdups and delays, long distances to places of work, noise
in the neighbourhood, loud speakers blasting songs,
music or religious ceremonies, and inheritances. Other
factors include distresses caused by the evil spirits, work overload that
intrude into the quiet night, emergency demands, night calls and conversations.
Indeed, humanity are on a steepy trend and everyday
people are crippling their spiritual being, life and talent in the craze and
rush for materialism.
Despite so many scientific
developments, life is not getting better. Instead, problems and challenges seem
to multiply and crime is on the increase. The situation calls for general
examination of how we live, how we do things and how to remedy the situation.
The unfortunate thing is that many are not ready to stop and ponder for a

come to attack: to steal, to kill and to destroy.
8. The ground on which you
sleep. If the ground is cursed or infested with abominations, you end up having
nightmares.
9. Evil potencies in the
environment and evil deposits in the object like walls, roofs, trees, scraps,
refuse dumps, waste water, etc.
